Soccer players literally play 90 minutes a week and get paid insane money. Not working hard? Sitting on the bench? Their salary barely changes. Play well for 3 months? Boom, transfer to a bigger club, more money.
Disappointed with your pay? Threaten the board. They’ll either raise it or you leave for more money. Suck compared to your salary? Boards can’t touch it.
