Anyone following the Nancy Guthrie disappearance?
Hey guys, I cant stop thinking about this case. Nancy Guthrie is the 84 year old mom of Savannah Guthrie from the Today show. She vanished from her home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson, Arizona, and its been over a week now with no real answers.
She was last seen on January 31 after having dinner and playing games with family. They dropped her off around 10pm, and everything seemed normal. Next day she didnt show up for church, so the family reported her missing on February 1.
Police found signs of forced entry, some blood that matches her DNA, and one of the security cameras had been messed with. Theyre treating it as a possible abduction or kidnapping. Shes got a pacemaker and needs daily heart medication, so everyone is really worried about her health.
The family put out a video saying they received a proof of life and theyre willing to pay whatever is demanded. FBI is involved and offering a reward, but still no suspects.
Its just so unsettling how someone can disappear like that in the middle of the night from their own home.
