Thoughts on why Zuckerberg is still underrated
People love to reduce Zuckerberg to awkward clips and lizard memes, but his actual track record is kind of crazy.
He started Facebook in 2004 and turned it into the default social platform for billions. He pushed News Feed early and basically changed how attention moves on the internet. When mobile wiped out a lot of internet companies, Meta survived the shift and kept growing. He bought Instagram before it was obvious. Same with WhatsApp. He was also throwing money at VR way before it was cool to talk about.
You can dislike Meta all you want. But saying he just got lucky is lazy. Running something at that scale for that long is not an accident.
