And although some of it has a bit of merit, it's often exaggerated to fit into a woke agenda. The main push-back I've seen fall into these categories: 1. AI content is "slop" - worse than human created content. 2. AI models have "stolen" real content, including books, music, pictures. 3. AI data centres use too much energy, resources, money. 4. AI will "take our jobs". 5. And finally, ChatGPT agreed a deal with Pentagon recently. On the opposite side, there are so called "vibe coders", who utilize AI in their software projects and businesses. They usually ignore all the points above, and forge ahead without thinking much about what was generated. Sometimes that backfires when generated code has security issues, etc. At the moment, it feel very polarized. There's very few voices which strike a middle-ground. However, I predict the woke attention will not last, because it never does.
