I used windsurf at first, but I’ve been using kiro since launch, back when kiro allowed claude sonnet 4(it was the latest model at the time) everyday.
I guess kiro is still not that well known among vibe coders.
It was made by AWS(Amazon Web Services), and I heard it was even used for refactoring AWS itself. There was also that funny error where it said AWS shut down last year lol.
Still, Kiro is generous enough to let users use the latest models for free every day. they give you free50 credits every month.
What’s good is that they don’t give a fuck how many accounts I have. antigravity, made by google, doesn’t allow multiple accounts, and they actually check. but kiro doesn’t.
So I’ve never paid kiro once in my life, and I’ve been using it for a year.
