Minecraft feels outdated

BraveCougar🇺🇸·2mo

It’s had basically the same graphics for over 10 years, and all you do is break and place square blocks. There’s still no real communication with villagers despite how far ai has come. Villagers all have the same pixelated face too. We can’t talk to them, and they can’t talk to us either.
Villagers are basically just NPCs for trading. Is that seriously all they are?

why would we need "better" graphics? Minecraft doesn't need to be gta. And why do we need to talk to villagers lol?

We should at least have relationships with villagers and actually become friends with them. If villagers die, we should feel sad, and if they’re happy, we should feel happy too. But atp, villagers are just the same trading NPCs with the same jobs and faces.

And why do you think Minecraft doesn’t need better graphics? It’s 2026.

@BraveCougar so does every game that hasn't updated graphics in 10 or so years need to get new graphics? not to mention wydm "new graphics?" like shading or textures or what? not to mention if actual ai LLMS were implemented into villagers that cost money so players would have to pay to talk to villagers. There are many villager jobs and outfit textures. I don't think villagers are supposed to be like realistic NPCs to talk to. And lastly if you wanted any graphical changes there are millions of free resources online that completely change the game looks, client or server side. And there are many villager ai mods.(Edited)
