People say they love square jaws because they think they are supposed to. Ask them privately and most will pick softer faces. The public opinion is fake and the private opinion is obvious.
Square jaws also make people look permanently annoyed. Every time I see a strong square jaw I assume the person is mad at me or about to start a fight. It does not read confident. It reads aggressive and exhausting. Soft jawlines look approachable.
