Why are some people so anti AI

I keep seeing people online who are straight up hostile toward AI and I am trying to understand where it is really coming from.

Some of it makes sense. People are worried about jobs. Fair. But some reactions feel almost emotional, like AI existing at all is offensive to them.

Is it mostly fear of losing work or just the usual internet panic cycle whenever something new shows up?

Curious what actually drives the anti AI crowd

Because some people improve their skills using AI while anti AI folks do not. That is why they hate it.

2. Are you enjoying unemployment yet?
3. Are you enjoying energy costs yet?
4. Are you enjoying ai fuck-ups yet? (which might lead you to point 2)
5. Are you enjoying pollution yet?

If you answer no to any of these: Keep using ai! Things will just get so much better!

and the absolute worst of it all is all these goddamn idiots that think ai is a godsend made for them, personally, and vigorously defend their new toy with the most inane, brainless clapbacks that would make a lobotomized pebble hang its head in shame while they keep abusing ai as a glorified content generator/psychiatrist boyfriend/replacement for a brain while ai should be curing cancer, ending world hunger, and solving all of life's great mysteries; this all is only moderately worse than the snake oil salesmen using "AI™" to conjure up some short-term profits out of thin air before they blow up the entire fucking economy and forever end the world's interest in what ai can ACTUALLY accomplish, eventually.

Want to argue the actual merits of ai with someone that actually wants to talk about them? Fine, no problem with that. 
But most of you brainless nuisances with your never ending asinine ai blabber and dimwitted retorts whenever your tongue isn't stuck in dear leader altman's ass should be launched into the sun. You're a million times worse than the rust programming language crowd for fuck's sake.

Does that elucidate the reality of ai hate for you? or do you need me to keep going and expanding the list at the top? because there's plenty more where that came from.
