Reddit only got big because it got there first, not because it’s actually good.

The whole system is a mess. Karma farming, mods deleting stuff for no clear reason, people just echoing whatever gets upvotes instead of saying what they really think. On top of that, you can get shadowbanned out of nowhere with zero explanation.
It does not even feel like a place for real discussion anymore.
If your karma is low, your voice basically does not matter. What kind of community is that?
At this point, there is no fixing Reddit. We need something better. Somewhere people can actually speak freely without fake internet points controlling everything.
